Oleksii Meniv, a partner of Shkrebets&Partners, gave a comment for a journalistic investigation by the VESTI publication regarding the possibility of Ukrainians acquiring a second citizenship.
Oleksiy explained how the issue of dual citizenship is currently regulated, and under what conditions second citizenship is not a violation. Such cases, in particular, include cases of automatic acquisition of citizenship, when a person does not submit an application or petition on his own.
The Shkrebets&Partners became a partner of the Legal Anti-Corruption Forum, held on February 8, organized by the newspaper Yurydychna praktika.
Anton Martynenko, junior partner of the Association, moderated the third session of the Forum, which was devoted to work with evidence. They talked about proving the fact of corruption and typical mistakes of pre-trial investigation bodies, inadmissibility of evidence in the practice of the State Criminal Court, electronic evidence, economic expertise in anti-corruption cases.

This year’s English-language guide Ukrainian Law Firms: A handbook for foreign clients 2022 turned out to be quite unusual – without traditional rating tables, but with a thorough analysis of the legal market.
