On June 13-14, the XII International Judicial Forum organized by the publishing house “Legal Practice” took place in Kyiv. “Skhrebets and Partners” has traditionally acted as a partner of this event.
Anton Martynenko, a partner of the Partnership, moderated the final session, which was devoted to the topical issue of legal protection of business in Ukraine.
We sincerely thank the organizers for the high level of professional training of the event, and the speakers and participants for an interesting discussion!
Yana Rybak, attorney of “Shkrebets and Partners”, highlighted the topic: “Protection of the right to ownership of a land plot and the right to use a land plot. Legal positions of the Supreme Court regarding the application of land legislation during the consideration of cases” within the course “ADVOCACY 7.0.” on comprehensive preparation for the bar exam, organized by the Academy of Consulting Business.
The speech program consisted of the following aspects:
• Land disputes. Ways of protecting land rights.
• Jurisdiction of land disputes.
• Land disputes regarding the acquisition, implementation and termination of ownership rights to land plots, protection of land lease rights.
The practice of the Supreme Court regarding the application of land legislation when considering cases.
The event was marked by a lively discussion, where course participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive expert clarifications on complex issues of land legislation.

Shkrebets and Partners was traditionally a partner of the II WHITE-COLLAR CRIME FORUM, which gathered leading lawyers in the field of white-collar crime and is held annually by the “Legal Practice” publishing house.
Oleksii Meniv, a partner of the Partnership, moderated the session, where white-collar crime with a foreign element was discussed.
They talked about the search for assets taken out of Ukraine: practical challenges and difficulties of return, search for virtual assets, compliance with international principles and values of justice and on other topics that are relevant in the context of this discussion.
