The master-class “Judicial protection of the rights of taxpayers” took place in the National Law University named after Yaroslav the Wise. The event was organized by the Alumni Association of National Law University named after Yaroslav the Wise and the law firm “Shkrebets & Partners”.
The students of the University interested in consideration proposed questions were invited to the event. The partner of Shkrebets & Partners attorneys-at-law Olexii Meniv made a presentation on the event.
During the meeting such problematic issues had been considered as: security features in the event of failure to provide tax information; the accuracy of the drafting of written request; the grounds for the administrative seizure of the taxpayer; partial disclosure of the documents; conditional administrative arrest; the confirmation of the administrative arrest; cancellation of an order for the inspection; unscheduled inspection; regulations that govern the inspections; tax decision notice; adjustment of tax liability, etc.
The team of Shkrebets & Partners successfully represented the interests of the Kharkiv Combined Heat and Power Plant № 5 in the litigation with tax authority to appeal the tax decision notices on the total amount of about $ 900 000.
Shkrebets & Partners protected the interests of entrepreneurs of the shopping center "Barabashovo" in suspicion of committing a crime under Article 229 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Illegal use of the mark for goods and services, company name, qualified indications of origin" on illegal use of trademarks and names «Adidas» and «Nike".
