On October 2, 2019, in the premises of the Darnytskyi District Court of Kyiv, a preparative hearing was held in the case on the claim of Medvedchuk V.V. to Kipiani V.T., publishing house “Vivat” and PE “Unisoft” on protection of honor and dignity (on the prohibition of publishing the book “The Case of Vasyl Stus”).
Due to the absence of the plaintiff and his representative, the court hearing was adjourned on December 13, 2019 at 10-00.
The court also considered and satisfied the petitions of attorneys of Attorney Partnership “Shkrebets & Partners” concerning the preparation of the case for trial:
1) An additional deadline has been set for Vivat Publishing House to file a recall due to the large volume of materials to be examined;
2) A new deadline has been set for the plaintiff to file a response to the recall, which is more correct than that established in the order opening the case;
3) A deadline for defendants to file objections, which has not been set at all.

AP “Shkrebets&Partners” – for the first time in the international ranking IFLR1000 2020!

In addition, the managing partner of the Partnership, Yevgeniy Shkrebets, presented the awards for Outstanding Contribution to Private Law and for Outstanding Contribution to Public Law.
The awards were set by AP “Shkrebets&Partners” together with the Forum Organizing Committee and the Baltic-Ukrainian Center of Education. In our view, the establishment of such professional awards is very important for the recognition of leading public and private law professionals and for the promotion of research in the sphere of law.
